JD-Data Management Administrator

Job Purpose:
Data Management Strategy – Execution of the data management strategy for own process area
Process – Delivery, execution and continuous improvement of all data management processes for own process area
People – Coach and train wider aspects of the business in the data requirements of own process area
Organization – Delivery and execution of the required integration with all business functions

Principal Accountabilities:
Execute the data management strategy for their own process area.
Enters (create / change / delete / propogate) data in all appropriate systems
Adhere to common data maintenance processes and data standards
Assist in the execution of continuous improvement programmes for data objects within own scope
Assist in the execution of data harmonisation programmes for data objects within own scope
Perform data reconciliation processes and data audit / integrity checks
Ensure the data quality across applications and initiates corrective actions when necessary
Create and maintain all controlled Master Data objects, at the appropriate level of the organisation, as required by the administration process.
Enters data within the agreed Service Levels Agreements
Resolve data maintenance priorities and business issues.
Provide expert knowledge and guidance to the business for own data objects & processes utilizing those objects
Manages the business data providers in own process area and ensure appropriate skills / knowledge / training
Defines the scope of relationships required with data owners and data providers
Consult and interact with relevant business parties and stakeholders on an ongoing business
Support the Business Data Manager in the day to day operational management of the data organisation

Qualifications and Experience:
College degree or above
Fair English skill, especially English reading and writing
SAP base knowledge is preferred.
Carefulness, industrious and enthusiasm are emphasized
Deep knowledge of the company / Consumer Products business processes in their own process area
Deep knowledge of the company application architecture for their own process area
Has “departmental” reach across own process area
Strong network and well respected within all members of their process area community
Subject Matter Expert for their own process area of data management in terms of both business content and application processes
Capable of engaging in, and comfortable with, detailed process and cross application systems issues
